Experten decken jedoch nach und nach auf, dass Wechselwirkungen zwischen den unterschiedlichsten Phanomenen bestehen. Auch die Psyche ist eng mit dem Koerper und dessen Zustand verbunden. Uta Krugmann geht in ihrer Publikation der Wirkung sensomotorischer Interventionen auf das Vegetative Nervensystem nach. In der Vergangenheit konnte beobachtet werden, dass bei Parkinson-Patienten zur Wirbelsaulenaufrichtung angebrachte Kinesiotapes auch Einfluss auf die Handschrift haben. Krugmann knupft mit ihrer Forschung an diese Beobachtung an. Dazu beschreibt sie zunachst das Krankheitsbild von Morbus Parkinson und erklart, welche Symptome Herausforderungen fur die motorische Therapie darstellen. Anschliessend untersucht sie unter Studienbedingungen, ob das Schriftbild von Parkinson-Patienten sich tatsachlich unter dem Einfluss von speziell angebrachten Kinesiotapes verandert. Sie ermoeglicht so ein besseres Verstandnis der kausalen Zusammenhange der Parkinson-Erkrankung.
