Hier wird das Erlebte auf der Reise, als Inselhupfer durch die Karibik, berichtet. Wir starten die Karibikreise aus unserer schwabischen Heimatgemeinde Illingen in Wurttemberg bei Stuttgart. Mit dem Zug fahren wir nach Frankfurt zum Airport, um dann direkt in die Karibik nach Kuba zu fliegen. Dort schauen wir uns die historische Stadt Havanna an. Das zweite Ziel ist die Stadt Cancun in Mexiko, da geniessen wir die weissen Strande und das Luxusleben. Mit dem Schnellboot fahren wir zur Insel Cozumel, um diese dann mit dem Motorrad zu umrunden und die Strande und das bunte Leben der Insel zu erkunden. Nach einem kurzen Abstecher zur Insel Roatan vor Honduras, hupfen wir auf die Cayman Island zum Tiki- und 7-Miles Beach. Danach sammeln wir die ersten Eindrucke der Insel Jamaika. UEber die unbekannte Insel Margarita vor der Kuste Venezuela, geht der letzte Stopp zur hugeligen, grunen Insel Guadeloupe. Von dort fliegen wir wieder in unsere schwabische Heimat. Der Reisebericht enthalt 220 Farbfotos. Die Tour wurde von Silvia + Wolfgang geplant u. durchgefuhrt. Wir erlebten puren Luxus, aber auch einfaches Inselleben. Lernten sehr freundliche u. hilfsbereite Menschen kennen, sahen schoene Landschaften und historische Gebaude. Naturlich erfreuten wir uns an den wunderschoenen Stranden, die es in der Karibik, am blauen Meer, zu geniessen gab. Immer wieder entdeckten wir die exotischen Tiere vor Ort.
