      SAAS 0.5L Catch Can

      Unit looks nice. Built quality is really good. I have not installed the unit so I can't comment about it's performance. Internal baffles looks good and looks like it's adequate. The catch can has a 40 mirons bronze filter filter fitted. However the surface area ofthe filter is relatively small and the airflow through it seems to be quite restrictive...and probably more so when the filtering process begins. As a comparison the 40 microns bronze filter in the Mishimoto catch can (Part #MMBCC-UNI) has a much greater surface area and provides much better airflow (This is not a review or an endorsement for Mishimoto)

      Good looking unit but could do much better with set up

      Quality of can is very good however no instructions, Allen key supplied didn't fit screws. Nowhere to fit drain hose to. (Has hole in the bottom for an adaptor but no adaptor which makes supplied hose and tap pointless. Bought kit for Hilux too and it sits very close to wiring harness when it can be brought forward much more. No easy way to remove brass filter for cleaning that I can find. No markings on top entry nut so hole may not line up with pipe.

      Top quality catch can and fitting. Good value. Supplied hose should be of better quality or not included at all.

      I purchased this for my Kia Stinger GT (which is direct injection) as a way to reduce/mitigate carbon build up. I was able to mount this using the supplied bracket on a factory bolt hole and it looks close to OEM. Build quality is great. Only downside is the supplied hose is not recommended as it got very soft. I managed to utilise the OEM breather hose for the input and had stronger, quality fuel rated hose i used for the output side. Other than that, good value catch can.
