Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensfuhrung, Management, Organisation, Note: 2, Johannes Kepler Universitat Linz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Zuge der Branchenanalyse wurden anhand des Beispiels der Scandinavian Blockhaus BauGmbH die Branchenstrukturanalyse nach Porter, die Konkurrenzanalyse und die PESTELAnalyse durchgefuhrt. Zentrale, gewonnene Erkenntnisse geben einen Einblick in die Dynamik der ausgewahlten Branche, wobei eine eindeutige Abgrenzung zu anderen Branchen wie beispielsweise zu jener der Fertigteilhauser, sowie die Recherche aktueller Daten sich als ausserst schwierig gestaltete. Wesentlich sind hier die relativ hohen Eintrittsbarrieren, welche die Branche vor potenziellen, neuen KonkurrentInnen schutzen. Von bedeutender Relevanz ist zudem der technologische Fortschritt. Aufgrund stetiger Neuerungen im Bereich der Technologie und den daraus resultierenden Fortschritt in Bezug auf Fertigungsprozesse ist es von essentieller Bedeutung fur ein Unternehmen, sich auf diese Dynamik einzulassen. Eine wesentliche Macht geht von den KundInnen des Unternehmens aus, wahrend jene der LieferantInnen eher gering erscheint. Ein beachtlicher Einfluss geht zudem von Substitutionsunternehmen aus. Im Zuge einer Konkurrenzanalyse konnten die ELK Fertighaus GmbH und die Rubner AG als wichtige KonkurrentInnen identifiziert sowie ein Starken-Schwachen-Profil erstellt werden. Die Ergebnisse aus der PESTEL-Analyse zeigen, dass es fur Scandinavian Blockhaus ausserdem wesentlich ist, ihren oekologischen Grundgedanken weiter zu pflegen, Preisentwicklungen am Markt zu beachten sowie (potenzielle) Trends in der Branche zu kennen und berucksichtigen beziehungsweise versorgen zu koennen.
