      Simple to use and very handy

      What a great item to have! I used to have to throw out any pencil once it got too short, now I can keep going with it until it's nearly gone. But not only does it extend the life of the pencil, the added thickness makes it much easier to hang onto. It's also a great conversation piece that gets noticed in the office.

      Kutsuwa STAD - fits most pencils.

      This is a Kutsuwa STAD extender and is my go-to one-size-fits-most pencil extender. It holds pretty much any graphite pencil and most sizes of colour pencil, except the really thick ones like Derwent Artist/Coloursoft and FC Polychromos. It will hold thicker asian coloured pencils such as Deli and Holbein Artist, and triangular pencils such as Staedtler Ergosoft and Kaisercolour. It has a nice slim design compared to most extenders of this type, and has a polymer eraser in the end (the blue bit). The polished stainless steel finish is fine for use with bare hands, but may prove a bit slippery if you wear a glove when drawing.
