Having cleaned and examined it with a magnifying glass before taking numerous photos and posting the ad, I assumed that when the buyer said that stones were missing, they must have been totally un-noticeable to the human eye [my son also checked it]. Instead when the ring was returned by the buyer, the holes left by the "missing" stones were substantial. There is no way we could have overlooked them.
