The original 90 watt one would become hot after about 1 hour use whereas your 120 watt unit would get a lot cooler even when on for several hours. Actually the laptop should have had a 120 watt adapter but when I got it at the swap-meet a few years ago the 90 watt one made by Toshiba was supplied. Anyway, I'm very happy with the adapter's quality and price and especially, no longer getting hot.
