If you're looking for a quieter model, the modest "click" is a far cry from some of the unholy "thunk" or "thud" or "thwack" of comparative models I've used in other installations. While it does need a 24V DC power supply to work, I particularly like DC coiled models since they don't have that annoying 50Hz hum, and have significantly reduced EMI from said AC coils.
