Be sure to adjust the tap on the top at the side to increase the water flow, ours wasn't open properly so we were only getting a dribble of water out initially. Once that was done, the tank water started improving much more quickly. After about 1.5 weeks and a couple of water changes to help things along we now have crystal clear water; we started with luminous green! Ran for three days then put on timer for 5 hours per day. Even the cost of replacing the globe is worth it because there is very little ongoing maintenance required. Highly recommended and great service from the seller.
