It achieved this purpose, but I don't know how many more holes it would achieve- probably not many. One of the photos on the listing references "steel plate". I think they're being grossly optimistic. I wouldn't attempt cutting steel with it. Still an ok product for the money though. Fast delivery over Christmas/new years too.
