    Functional, nice glasses. Not spectacular.

    At approx. 385g per glass these units are a nice weight and standard size for DOF glasses. Could be a touch heavier, but they are ok. The clarity and finish are exceptional, with the colour being on the side darker for crystal. They reflect light well under the right conditions. Which leads to a few points - 1. That the fire glazing (polishing) has produced rounded and smooth, but functional and strong edges like you would get on a normal household drinking glass - particularly the top edge. (This is a missed opportunity to make the glass look 'smart' and highlight the crystal material, like cutting/grinding does) 2. That the colour, together with the rounded edges makes the glass appear more like standard household glass than it should. 3. Its not really clear if this is lead crystal, ...
