    Great Inexpensive Bluetooth Audio Receiver

    Great gadget! Extends the usability of my Sounddock II. Tested with an Android mobile. Bluetooth connects easily at first attempt and then reconnects automatically if bluetooth is turned off at the mobile and then turned on again. Also tested with an iPhone X; it connected easily first time. Used each phone about 6 metres away from the adapter/speaker. No issues. I'm happy with the sound quality. Note that my use case is line of sight. Have not tested with the source being in a different room to the speaker. Happy with my purchase.

    The adapter is not compatible with a Sony ICF-DS15iP docking station.

    Although the lights on the adapter indicate that it has power and has connected to your phone, it does not play any sound via the dock. The product does not indicate who it is made by and there is no online support to identify what docking stations it is compatible with or to problem solve any issues you are having. If you have a Sony docking station it may be best to look for an bluetooth adapter that also has an aux output.

    New life for my Bose Sound dock , brilliant bit of kit

    This is a great device, simple to use, means my lightning cabled Iphone will now work with it, my my Bose sound dock is not only back out of the cupboard and in use again, but it’s easier to use like this than it was the day I bought it.     Thought this Bose system was no longer able to be used due to the connection becoming obsolete. This little device fits beautifully into the sound wave 11 portable speaker and now it works again. Can pick up wirelessly from iPhone.
