- p***t (1761)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI culture very specific strains of phytoplankton which require the use of chlorinating/bleaching saltwater for 12 hrs then using a product to dechlorinate the mix. Sodium Thiosulphate brings the clarity back to sterile purity without any trace chemically tested using Hanna test kits. Attached are images of 5ppm chlorine and free chlorine then after 6hrs of Thiosulphate the results in crystal clear and tested clean saltwater. For 20 litres only 3 crystals were used 0.6 grams to remove chlorines.
