Overall its a great Mic, however, it's nearly been 2 months of careful use and the cable on it is already having a few issues. I'd recommend going with the Videomic Pro Plus instead as it has a replaceable cord.

I have not used it much as yet but what I have seen is clear quality with minimal external wind noise, the mic does seem to be directional and therefore a better pickup from directly in front and tends to struggle over a few meters, but that isn't what is designed for, overall a great product
