Seminar paper del ano 2003 en eltema Romanistica - Espanol, literatura, cultura general, Nota: 19 von 20 Punkten, Universite de Provence (Etudes Romanes), Idioma: Espanol, Resumen: En 1944, Carmen Laforet, escritora de solamente 22 anos y hasta entonces desconocida en el mundo literario, recibio el premio Eugenio Nadal por su obra Nada.La escritora, de origenbarcelones, pero que paso su juventud en las Islas Canarias, volvio para estudiar Filosofia y Letras a Barcelona. Termino su novela en Madrid en septiembre del ano 44, dos anos despues de su partida de la ciudad catalana. Sus impresiones de Barcelona se encuentran claramente en las descripciones del entorno de la protagonista de su novela. Su carino por la ciudad lo expresa en un articulo del diario El Pais del ano 1983, en el que habla de su tiempo estudiantil: Por los alrededores de la catedral gotica, junto a las casas de los canonigos, ya escribia mis cuadernos con la sombra de las torres volando casi sobre mi cabeza. Aparte de la historia principal, la ciudad de Barcelona tiene un papel interesante en nuestra novela. Por eso, vamos a analizarlo de manera descriptiva e interpretativa para finalmente comparar estas dos partes. Esta novela narrada en primer persona que pone al lector en la Barcelona de la postguerra, trata de la joven huerfana Andrea, que viene vivir a la ciudad para estudiar literatura. Pero ahi choca con el mundo raro y deprimente de sus parientes con los que vive en la casa de la calle de Aribau. Para huir de este entorno asfixiante, se da largos paseos por la ciudad que la fascina. Andrea vive asi dos mundos diferentes: el mundo de la casa de la calle de Aribau y la ciudad de Barcelona con su Universidad donde hace amistades. El relato que contiene el espacio temporal de un ano se terminara con la tragedia del suicidio de su tio Roman y la partida de Andrea hacia Madrid para seguir a su amiga Ena. Una primera parte breve sobre la Barcelona de la posguerra nos servira como introduccion
