    great motor for a small tinnie or kayak

    This is the third watersnake 24lb motor I have purchased. First one was sold with the boat I sold, the second with the Kayak and the third is now fitted to my tinnie. I have not experienced problems with any of them. It is mounted on the transom and I use it to depart the shoreline to deeper water before starting the Outboard Motor. I also use it when drifting to send the boat in the direction I want to drift. It is really a handy item to have on a small boat and a kayak. I had a Hobie with the Mirage Drive, however if I wanted to have a rest, then the electric was used.

    Kayak motor

    Great small kayak motor that suits all kayaks. Ideal for modifying to fit into Hobie Mirage Drive well with custom made bracket. Can be modified to be a rudder mount which is best choice for any rudder fitted kayak. Lightweight, simple construction but still suitable for salt water. Switches could be better quality but do the job ok. Can be replaced easily with aftermarket if so desired. Ensure suitable size cable is used for battery connection if extending cable. Great price for what you get.

    Water snake asp t24

    Shame about the wiring quality. Too light and main power in failed, terminal damaged when fitted, broke and motor stopped. Can you really not use a lithium battery?
