    proper lathe

    Just a solid proper lathe at a reasonable price. Worked well with both hard and soft wood and has the power to rip through tough knots. Note it is heavy and solid.

    light weight metal and has to much flex

    lathe made from very thin metal especially the tail stock bends when you add a piece of timber ready to machine as you tighten the tail stock everything flexes and goes out of round. the chisels that come with the lathe bent and handles fell off.
