    10 Year old printer still works like new

    I have a Brother MCF8840D which I bought about 15 years ago - now done over 180,000 copies and still printing like new. The only trouble I have had with it was when I used cheap no-brand toner. Now I only use genuine Brother branded toner and cartridges, and never had a problem with printer or print quality since. Only buy toner on ebay - less than half retail price. $60 toner will give me over 6,000 copies of print. Brilliant!!

    Great cartridge, as long as it is genuine Brother brand

    Been using these cartridges for over 15 years. Excellent. get over 3500 copies from a cartridge, and no problems with the printer as long as I use genuine Brother cartridges. The only problem I have ever had with this printer was from non-genuine toner, which is apparently a different grade of toner. And no, I do not have any association with Brother or any other computer related industry.
