I love Bryson's style and keen powers of observation, plus it is always interesting to see how a non-Australian sees our country with all its peculiarities. My chief objection to this book is that if you have read his book on Australia titled 'Down Under', this novel is a case of deja vu. However, it is still funny and his description of a cricket match is one of the most entertaining accounts of cricket I have ever read.

This was SO funny. Don't read it on the bus or train because it makes you laugh out loud. I've never read a bad Bill Bryson book yet. And never will. I can't wait for the one due out later this year.
